| May be a matter of where you live |

Seriously: there are some places where the men are more brain-
washed even than usual, into thinking they're supposed to be some
kind of "superior life form", when their attitudes have actually
lowered them to somewhere a few rungs below slime mold.
Could even be the age distribution of "available" men, where you
are: most of us don't begin to see anything that isn't inside the
south end of our own alimentary canal, until some time after the
age of twenty-five to thirty years: as a result, enlightenment
often happens only after we're already married.
Oh, and it doesn't have to be a pickup truck, to accomplish the
desired pickup--just something with a little pickup. (OK, I'll
stop with the punning!) Really, anything that shows you might be
interested in something that doesn't leave a guy feeling totally
unable to contribute to said interest is going to be noticed.
All you have to get past, then, is the notion that an interesting
lady isn't going to take interest in one of us. For all of the
bravado we have to project, in order not to be "eaten alive" by
our "competition", most of us know perfectly well that the ladies
are the ones in charge of the coupling game, and expect you to go
for whomever we think is the "alpha male"--even though he usually
is one of the "peurile jerks", as I called them, previously.
Like I said, show some interest, and you may very well make some
lucky guy's day; but you may have to be the one to initiate. If
a guy has a problem with that, he isn't worth your time, anyway.

Yep, I have a big geographical disadvantage. | by Nea | 2005-02-14 10:00:30 |

It didn't seem quite *that* skewed, to me, . . . | by HadEnuf | 2005-02-14 10:08:29 |

Possibly not that skewed, | by Nea | 2005-02-14 10:53:24 |
