but you do realize that reset to defaults will change the IP to the original default IP - and your machine must be on the same subnet to access it to make any changes?

So if the default is 192.168.168.168, you need to have your machine to 192.168.168.222 or something to access it. And you may need a wire to it, instead of using wireless.

Other than that - call their tech support and find out how to do a hard-reset to factory defaults - there is likely a way. Do you have the docs/manuals?
