I get sleepy drunk. Alcohol just shuts me down and I want to sleep. If you keep me awake then I get maudlin which is not a useful way to cheer myself up so I try not to drink when I'm down. Besides most of the guys I know that I would hang out with have plans for tonight.

I know that I don't want to be in a suboptimal relationship. As I said, usually I don't care about this crap. It just seems to be hitting me this weekend and today.
