that doesn't stop me from trying to use it as one. My current issue: I installed Fedora Core 3 a couple days ago, and it was working fine with my USB flash drive. Yet suddenly, now, it doesn't work with it anymore. Gives no indication of being aware that such a drive exists... tried rebooting and switching ports to no effect. I didn't intentionally change anything that seems like it could be related. My normal method for dealing with such problems is to hit it, but I don't know where to aim to hit an operating system without causing any collateral damage to other things.
