Mine actually has a qwertz layout, complete with č, ¨ and ¸ (variations of c, s and z (if they don't show up as such in your browser)) which don't exist in many languages. Though for some reason it also has a ć key (another variation of c), but no đ (d), which although don't exist in our alphabet are sometimes used especially in names originating from down South (Serbo-Croatian language(s) have those two characters). On the other hand, I guess they either ran out of space for that last fifth character and though it can easily be replaced or this specific keyboard variation isn't meant to be sold further South.
Actually, when I bought the phone I didn't notice that half of the keyboard had qwertz layout and the other half qwerty, so there were two "z" keys, but no "y". It was the last phone in the shop, so they weren't able to replace it on the spot when I came back some 10 minutes after leaving, but the saleswoman's quick thinking saved the day when she called another nearby shop and arranged that I picked up a new phone there and they'd transfer the money in the morning (although both shops are owned by the same company, their finances are separate). |
