the thing is I have to work with an agency to do it. The agency didn't return my calls initially, then I had a female call and ask for the person everyone else I spoke to insisted I HAD to speak to. When the female called, suddenly she was available and she handed the phone over to me. One of the first questions I asked is why my calls weren't returned (I left voice mail) she claimed they were. I never got anything on caller ID or voicemail to indicated she had returned my calls.
They then said they were going to send paperwork for me to fill out. I showed up at their office in person to fill out the paperwork. The mailed paperwork, that they "sent out a few days before I showed up in person" still hasn't arrived.
I have the reciept from January the 8th saying that I paid my initial registration fee to the "Safe Program" to see my daughter. They still have not contacted me back, they usually act within two weeks from what everyone else has said.
Wow, more than a week into Februrary, and I got the ball rolling on this in early November. It really sounds like this place is here for both parents. Especially the one WITHOUT a criminal history. |
