this is a vacation, so we dont want to do anything too terribly difficult. Some learning is great, but we really want to be in the water. Doing the certification gives us probably 4-6 more hours in the water than the 'newb' dive. The only thing we are required to buy besides the course itself is a mask and snorkle.
