they're honest about it.
I wouldn't mind so much if they weren't lying to everyone (and possibly even themselves). Let Bush come out and say:
"You know, I don't like Iran. I think they're government sucks and I feel threatened by it. So, I am going to take over their country and put in a government and/or governmental system that seems better to me. I will attack their country, I will invade a soveriegn territory but first, I will declare war. The US forces under my command will kill civilians in the process, although we'll generally avoid targeting them specifically since that doesn't gain us much. Some of our forces will die and many will be wounded. I encourage you to sign up today and help me take out the people I don't like."
That would be so honest, I think he'd choke on his words.
I'm not saying a thing about Iraq, or Israel, or oil or anything else. The real reason I think he'd want to go into Iran is because he just doesn't like their government or their system and because he feels threatened by them. |
