*sigh* Just got talked into buying a copy of by Celticess2005-02-11 11:25:59
sounds similar to a late night infomercial by shminux2005-02-11 12:05:05
Well because he's a nice guy by Celticess 2006-11-19 12:55:59
and really thinks he's helping. Also neither he nor the other know if I read the book or not and it stops the nagging. Yes it does sound like an infomercial. website about it(if your curious) One of the things the guy advocates is keeping I think it was 5 jars you put money into each month. One is a fun jar that at any time you can use money from and just blow. Another is a specific savings for something you want. Another is for emergencies, another for bills and one for investment. He claims even poor people can do this. But eh if your poor enough(which I have been at times) you live from cheque to cheque and really have nothing to set aside even into an emergency fund. Another thing was getting people to think about their dreams and follow a career path they really like. Well eh that should of been kind of obvious and I've already gone through that process 2x.(some of what he mentions I learned in high school consumerism and career planning... as well as post secondary career planning)
