Only the first image is actually racist, referring as it does to the role from Gone With the Wind, and the racism is subtle, but it does exist, IMO.

The second is actually very apt, as Rice was an excellent parrot for Bush's slogans/buzztalk, rather than answering questions during the 9/11 hearings. That has nothing to do with race, and everything to do with credibility, integrity and honesty.

Secondly, your comments regarding Jackson and Sharpton indicate that race is their only concern. While I may not particularly care for either man, I would not stereotype their behavior as badly and as baldly as you have. I believe they are capable of perceiving that Rice's remarks and behavior were appropriately questioned during the hearings.
If committee members had demonstrated racist attitudes during either questioning, I feel certain that these two along with the rest of the country would have protested loudly and correctly for apologies.
Just because some of us dislike Ms Rice doesn't mean we would stand for racist remarks being made to or about her.

Having said that, are you seriously telling me that no one complained about the GWTW cartoon??
