because of China. Seoul would cease to exist within hours of a strike on N Korea. I have no doubt the US and S Korea (probably with Japan's help also) could defeat N Korea pretty easily. But the cost would be enormous. Thousands of artillery batteries lined up on Seoul would kill thousands, if not hundreds of thousands.
