If they wait and release them all together at one time, it appears(to the uneducated masses) that they are actually doing more then they are. after all, if some person who knows next to nothing about computers sees that the computer downloads an update every three or four days. they think nothing of it. However, if they see the comptuer download 10+ patches, they feel that the computer is safer becuase all those downloads. It's all about appearances to those who know nothing about computers.
