Windows Active Directory Question by evilsysadmin 2005-02-11 07:34:45
i am working on AD for our Windows Servers(Bleah)
I have the computers accounts in the AD but there are some that I can not use the Manage feature on. They are XP Pro and Windows 2000 Pro computers. The MS article I keep finding said that you need to go on Windows Firewall and change TCP445 but I did that and it still does not work.
Even with firewall disabled it does not work.
Some of them working fine and some are not, even though they are set up the same.
Any ideas?
Also why can you not add group policy to the default OU "computers"? It is a pain that you have to build an OU for computers when there is one right there that you can not build a policy for.
