And if you insist on touching them, wash your hands frequently. Personally, I would wait a while, then maybe go see a doctor. But I've had pink eye before and I know what's pink eye and what's "man, I left my contacts in too long!" or allergic reaction. If you've never had this before and especially if it doesn't cost you much/anything, you may want to see a doctor. In the meantime, read up about the disgusting disease that is pink eye and hope you don't have it! :)
