is it a stereotype if it has been proven that i.e. -- what you said above, or is it a scientific fact. I probably wouldn't say it is a stereotype. But it can become one, depending on how it is delivered. If you just say the first sentence (of your post), it's not a stereotype. If you just say the second, it can be viewed as a stereotype. If you say both, you'll confuse people and they will look at you funny. (hehe)
