Also, I agreed with much of what he said. I'm not much of a hero regarding finance, but what he says appears to be sound; the bit about bonds is a case in point. Foreign policy: I'm not sure about the humiliation bit. I know that many would like to see it happen; I don't know that it will alleviate things. What I think is needed is humility, more specifically than humiliation; although an instance of humiliation would be a part of that. What I especially value is that he values America, but loves it enough to look at it with a critical eye. We need more people in Europe who will do that regarding the Union, the bureaucracy of which is growing out of proportion. An interesting article -- thank you!
