doesn't really mean anything, as he also said, other then that they hire good developers, no matter what they worked with before. They, for example, apparantly hired an old IE developer a while ago.
The "ultimate goal" of the company is to "present all the information in the world to users in an easy to use way", or something like that (forgot the exact wording). All their current products follow that motto, except for GMail.
Btw, I dunno if you've noticed it, but they got this cool new project on the way too. Was kinda funny at the lecture since we got a guy at the University who has been spearheading a similar project for a few years, guess if he suddenly had a lot of questions once this was brought up. :P |
