While "bury[ing] our heads in the sand and try[ing] to bury the kids' heads as well, and then let[ting] them expiriment [sic] themselves to death" is far from ideal, I think going to the other extreme is no better. And, quite frankly, I resent being told to "get over it", whether by society as a whole or by members of this board.
I do agree with your last statement. Our kids do deserve better. So what's wrong with teaching our children to treat sexuality with sanctity and respect? |
