My beliefs are my own. They start with the assumption that a human life is the most valuable thing there is. And that any violence against humans is wrong. Have you seen me advocate any violence at any time? I have spoken out against the violence perpetrated by the current US government. I have not advocated any violence done to them or any others. My message is peace. My hope is for an end to violence everywhere. And I am against anything that glorifies the current war in Iraq. It is probably that last thing that makes me seem anti-american. The fact that I cannot see anything good in the Iraqi war. Even if by great good luck Iraq becomes better off as a result of this war I will not see it as any kind of justification of starting the war. Let me put it this way: If Martin Luther King was born as a result of a rape - if his mother was a rape victim and bore him as a result - it would not justify rape.
