You stated: barring anything which harms anyone in the making of it. What of the adult film actors recently infected with the Aids virus? Should that just be chalked up to an occupational hazard? Or the rampant use of narcotics in the adult entertainment industry. It's been alleged that at parties at the Playboy mansion narcotics were passed out like party favors.
Or the girls (many of who are runaways) who lie about their age (or producers who just don't care) to make a buck as fluff girls or even on the screen (Remember Traci Lords?)
I don't think it's an industry that operates without causing harm. The sticky issue is how to deal with the problems while not infringing on liberties.
