Clinton's lawyer didn't object, considering that evidence of specific prior bad acts that aren't criminal convictions aren't admissible. Especially not to show a pattern of behavior to suggest that he's acting in accordance now.

It would be admissible if he testified on direct in his defense that he had never had an extramarital affair, as then it would be for purposes of impeachment (of the testimony kind, not of the presidential kind) rather than for showing a pattern.
