what you call "funny symbols" WILL expand the scope of the internet. I'm sure that not having non-ascii characters HAS hindered international relations long enough now.

Hey, in german I see the "eszet" character dissappear, but TO ME the double-s is still harder to read in some words. (I don't like all_undercase_low_letters too much, nor do I like ALL_SAME_HEIGHT_UPPERCASE : Both are difficult to read.

And WHY should the spanish ~ or the french ^ or the german ¨ be more "funny" or "weird" than any of the others?

So I take it that "this is gonna be fun browsing from now on" is your conclusion, but that "their crazy chars" is a temporary glitch.
