Even with a UK-English KB.

Now, I *could* change my KB mappings so that I got german keys, but that screws up touch-typing & I'd also lose some useful characters (like £, which is kind of important over here!).

I guess the best thing is, if you need to access www.bärbel.de, you either bookmark it or you remember what the ASCII code for ä is.

I guess there'll be relatively few people needing to do this, and each will only visit a few such sites, so it shouldn't be too big a problem.
