for sloppy writing to me. One may be able to get away with it within a subculture (dialiects, slang); however this forum has an international audience, and many people do not have English as a first language. So to be widely understood, it's best (and also fair and polite) to use the "King's English". Or suffer people poking at you with pointy LARTs.

And we do seem to have our fair share of slang as it is.
