Don't know if you (stacato) were only joking yesterday but the thread references to an offer from Sojawurst over in my "clasical music" thread.
Arvo Pärt is a contemporary composer from Latvia of quite minimalistic "modern classical music"; a bit like P. Glass but more ecclesiastic, more reduced with hints of Gregorian choir harmonies... I finally had the idea to blow this up to a mini-meet (on April, 3). And yes to that part of the evening art-ignoring, overweight, farting, boozing, burger eating but otherwise funny UFies will be allowed too! :-))
