this is quite disconcerting by Garath2006-11-19 12:55:59
For ONCE M$ did better ? by scissors 2005-02-08 03:03:19
I guess so.
At least, this Firefox one says it's "paypal.com", the "secure one" too.
But the "open_link_in_MSIE" gives me "border manager .... not allowed (that's the firewall) ...
and the MSIE window opens, with "http://www.p0ypal.com/" in the adress bar.
On fireFox I then activated the "spoofstick" ... and the "spoofstick" gets trapped just like the FireFox does.

So we HAVE to recognize: SOME things are better in MSIE.

Of course, if that is due to MS "not correctly interpreting non-asci hostnames" it should be fixed.
But it looks like FireFox messes up the non-ascii hostnames, so THAT should be fixed. (If it's a phishing spoof, I want to be warned --if possible-- by the "system", NOT "comforted" by a spoofstick extension, that doesn't catch a well-done spoof.

But isn't that the fun of "cracking": always stay one step ahead of the solutions?

Unluckily, I can't volunteer for that fix, as I DO understand "office problems" and such, and DO understand "database reporting" (still learning, sure), I 'm NOT a "skilled programmer" and I don't want the mozilla effort crippled by my contributions.
