Okay... HELP! (html,javascript,example) by ag__wyvern 2005-01-27 21:26:20
I posted earlier concerning an issue, needing help with javascript (I know *none*).

Anyway... determined that the script function isn't even being called when a hotspot is clicked in my help page (generated with RoboHelp).

Okay.... I created a new page with nothing on it but the two widgets that are causing me problems. I need someone to take a look at the html that was produced and tell me what is wrong.

Short version...
a) place a drop down hotspot on page, with 'right arrow' graphic in the hotspot.
b) click hotspot, change graphic to 'down arrow' and display the dropdown text.
c) the dropdown text includes a second hotspot with 'right arrow'.
d) click the hotspot, the graphic *doesn't* change!

The graphic is supposed to be changed via a javascript call (onClick=...).

So, the first one executes the script, the second doesn't.

I'm at a loss. If anybody is willing to spend a few minutes on this to help me, I'd really appreciate it. I can send the html over to you. Colour me confused (in large part because I haven't fiddled with this before).

Thanks for listening to me ramble.
