I need help finding a word by Astro-g2005-01-27 02:52:08
  Agape? by EWS2006-11-19 12:55:59
agape (in that context) is a Greek word, by rorajoey 2006-11-19 12:55:59
pronounced "ah-GAH-peh" (not "a-GAPE", as in "wide open"). "S'agapo" (sah-gah-POH) means "I love you."

According to www.m-w.com, agape means the same thing as "love feast" or simply "love", specifically this definition of love:
4 a : unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another: as (1) : the fatherly concern of God for humankind (2) : brotherly concern for others b : a person's adoration of God
And the love feast is this:
1 : a meal eaten in common by a Christian congregation in token of brotherly love
2 : a gathering held to promote reconciliation and good feeling or show someone affectionate honor
