Question about moving DOS-based files by NOLAWitch2005-01-27 16:17:19
This will take a while but... by Glytch782005-01-27 16:20:45
Did the first two: moved HD to windows box by NOLAWitch 2005-01-27 16:26:31
and copied data over. Put winHD into Linux box and it won't recognize the drive. Attempting to mount using "mount -t msdos /dev/hdb/tmp" does not work. Error message "wrong fstype, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdb, or too many mounted filesystems". Mount with no parameters shows we have two filesystems mounted: /dev/hda1 on /root and /dev/hda6 on /home. Both are ext3 filesystems.
