how many people our age take work seriously enough?
Lets take my co worker scott.
scott is a pretty decent example I think. 20 years old drives a 40 k truck with 10 thousand in body mods to it. Still lives with his parents makeing 17 an hour.
Two weeks ago took Friday and Monday off to go skiing in Vermont.
This week old the boss to go "f himself" because he made more money plowing snow on Saturday than he would normaly make all week pounding nails.

His attitude for the whole job has been screw it. Its not my problem. Today it was 20f or near enough He shows up in a sweat shirt and jeans and a hoodie jacket and complains hes cold and says that "If I get to cold I'm going home." This punk is my boss.

I have been sweating every cut and every problem that comes up since this project started. I Cut every board and every post in this deck and moved all the stone under neath of it.
dug the trench for the drain lines. and made sure every piece of Trex on the deck was as perfect as I could manage. He complains he works to hard while the heaviest load he managed to lift all week was his butt getting into the Bobcat.
He doesn't complain about NOT getting overtime, and complains about an 8 hour day where we nominaly work for about 6 hours.

My opinion is that the people of this country need to work a bit harder and spend a little less time slacking off. I enjoy my time off as much as anyone but I would be more than happy to work everyday. 10 hours a day if some one had the work for me.
