631 is the area code, then the rest is the regular phone numebr.

Depending on where you are in NA you either deal 7 or 10 digits for local calls. Eventually everywhere for local calls will be 10 digits :)

When making a long distance call your going to need the country code, i think its 1, atleast thats what we use within north america, so to call LD here it would be

1-631-xxx-xxxx
