unethical. It may be illegal, and it may be none of your business, but that could be said of many things in which it would not necessarily be unethical to intervene.

Personally, I don't think it would be unethical. I certainly do not think it it would be obligatory. I agree that it is illegal and none of your business, but I also recognize the good intent of the first party, the potential benefit to the second party, the lack of harm to the second party, and the lack of any harmful intent from the first party. And for those realizations, I do not consider it unethical.
