Hey everyone,
I just wanted to stress to all to please not put pop in the ice bucket in the side by side freezer. While it is generally not a good idea to put pop in a freezer, there are added problems with an ice dispenser. When a person gets ice from the door, a crank turns in the ice bucket to dispense the ice. This can result in the can getting caught in the crank, either damaging the crank or the can.
This morning someone put a can of Dr. Pepper on top of the ice in the ice bucket. Not knowing this, I went to get ice, and the can got ripped in half in the ice bucket. This resulted in Dr. Pepper all over the inside of the freezer, as well as a mess on the kitchen floor.
To those who happened to be in the kitchen at the time, I'm sorry if they learned any new words from me...
