Nothing to see and nothing to do, only miles and miles of cornfields and cow pastures. I wouldn't live in the boonies again for all the tea in China. The mindset of those who lead that insular sort of life with no interaction with a variety of people is what foments hatreds of the "other" in society. Progressive thinkers abound in cities; regressive thinkers abound in the boonies.
