There is no 'a' in 'definitely'!
It's 'lose', not 'loose'! (where there is a winner/loser situation)
'I before E except after C' in pretty much all the words you use regularly!
'Wierd' is a strange spelling for 'weird'
There are two 'e's in 'interest'
Now, I don't wanna be a jerk about it, but the 6 rules above are the most widespread problems I see with people's writing on the internet. A simple cheatsheet stuck to your monitor would help a lot.
I also don't want to pick on any specific people. My annoyance today was bred from the horrific spelling on Fark, not here. It's just frustrating to see the same few errors constantly!
