Housing update - YAY! by Celticess 2005-01-27 10:50:10
Yes I got it. Unfortunately they don't subsidize utilities anymore. The worker found out about that today or yesterday as BC Housing changed how they do things. The only bill I think could get semi high is gas for heating due to house design but in general it's not a big deal if my rent is that low.

But WHEEEE... I'll be moving on March 1st though I asked if I could move a few things in early. Which they said yes to but not as early as my roommate would of liked. Reason why we need to move a few items before the first is my roommates helping me move out and he's also helping his gf move in. They both have trucks but her's is a little jeep so can't really hold anything. She'll gradually move somethings over here this comming month(feb). The community worker said I could move some things last week of feb to the new place.

Oh and I just got some tv trays somewhat cheap for $19 with stand(new is around $45... got these at value V). I also got another magazine holding end table like the one my mom gave me. Oh and I got a used procter silex 4 slice toaster for $6. Now all I need is a dinner table, coffee table, pots & fry pan, and some new cutlery(mine is very old and somewhat corroded). But WHEEEE... going to also buy some caselot on friday to take with me to the new place so I have that extra food.(and well laundry detergent as it's on sale too)

Only sad moment is my son and I will have to say bye to our kitty but it's going to a good home. I just have to arrange with MikeCDN when to bring her over near the end of Feb.
