which was (paraphrased): "We're not paying for your college...either you get a job and go to school at the same time, or you just get a job. Oh, by the way, you can't live here while you're doing it, and we're not helping you with rent. Or food. Or winter clothes."

So...I didn't go to school. I really wanted to, and I'm sure I'd be making more money if I did. On the other hand, my twisted sense of morality requires that if my parents need help when they are old, I'll try to give it.
