And I think Bismarck was right- set government pensions at an age that a *minority* will reach, and a decrepit one at that. Then again, we set our schooling so almost anyone will pass, it only follows that we would set our retirement to the same sense of entitlement.

The social safety net should be for when you honestly can't work anymore; not to subsidize a couple decades of playing golf or boating.
