I remember having similar problems	by radiowave911	2005-01-27 09:26:17
years ago when I still had Win 95 and first got my DSL. I seem to recall that it had to do with the PPPoE 'dialer' that authenticated my connection (why I had to log on to use a point-to-point type of conenction still baffles me). Is it possible that the connection is closing and not allowing the other applications to connect? There may be an idle disconnect type of setting. I'd look in that direction....
