Is underpopulation our problem? by Kickstart 2006-11-19 12:55:59
Interesting article here - declining birth rates in North America and Europe are, at best, being supported by immigration. Yet even that isn't enough to keep the population at sustainable levels for the most part. The province of Quebec apparently pays extra money for people to have kids, (IMO) to support their language a7ishness. I wonder if that will start to be the norm in countries with declining population.
