I think they do probably have very wide ranging definitions of 'rape' 'coercion' and 'abuse.' I have occasionaly been 'coerced' by my spouse when I was not in the mood. Some definitions of rape would include that situation. I cna believe that the world wide percentages would be higher the US based. But since this went back to the possibilty of rape by US soldiers, I don't know that those percentages would apply. I did see a statistic that said 3% of men had 'raped.' But they woudl have had to have raped 25% of the women. that is 8 victims per rapist. You would definetly have to be including 'coercion and alchol influenced situaions. There is no way violent rapists have that high an average.
