What if the sign says "Mark Windum lives here?" Does this constitute an invite in? It doesn't explicitly say "Do not enter!" but it also doesn't say "Come on in". This is how I see the SSID. You could have one that says "stay the h*ll out", encrypted. You could also have one that says "kick back, put up your feet and enjoy", the example given earlier was 'Luftnetz'. But a third possibility, and I am suggesting that people that aren't aware of a security issue are using this one, is "see me, I have a network but I don't know how to secure it".
