I have seen from 1 in 3 to 1 in 6 but the numbers I can find do not even remotly support that. The number of reported rapes, attempted rapes and sexual assalt in 2002 was 248K and the population of women between 18 and 65 was something like 100 million. That is one per 500 women. You would have to have only 1 in 100 crimes reported for that statistic to be true. The worst percentage I have seen is 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 NOT 1 in 100.
