a restaurant and you see that the guy next to you gets up to run to the restroom and leaves his wallet with cash spilling out all over the table, can you take it? He hasn't specifically told you not to take it. It is in plain view for the taking. What if you only took a small portion of the cash? It's not like he is *really* going to miss it, right? After all, it is his fault for leaving the wallet laying out like that in the first place.
