but didn't get a chance to go there. And trust me I *really* want to see it first hand. Nor did I get to visit the cemetary at Normandy that trip, but both are still topping my list. Then, I was only able to see Dachau, and even though it lacks the infamy of Auschwitz it is still a sobering, somber experience. As is the USS Arizona Memorial.
