I had an ethics in engineering lecture a while ago.
It opened buy describing this amazingly efficient plant, A net producer of electricity.
Then they named the facility - Auschwitz.
Nothing anyone does occurs in a vacum.
We must all hold some responsibility for what our society puts the results of our labours to.
people in professional possitions need to be especialy mindfull.
When a lawyer screws up some one is wrongfully punished, or unpunished.
When a doctor screw up, someone can die, or be injured.
When an engineer screw up, lots of people die iin some form oif accident.
An entire society need to be really screwed to put all this together.
the other atrocities are nasty, to say the least.
Auschwitz is particularly shocking in is coldness and industriousness.
