passion, romance and lust are very superficial when "love" isn't in the picture. But without them, one can LOVE a child, or a sister-in-law, an old grandparent (or her neighbour)
For LOVE the "passion" isn't required, and you'll find out soon enough that if you can love someone without the passion-romance-lust thing interfering, that can become one of the best "relationships" one can have.
And if in that relationship "P-R-L" can have their place, they MAY come into life within the relationship, thus significantly enhancing it.
In most of the affective bonds I mentioned, the Love-Passio-Lust will only have a very little place, or none at all. It would really ruin a bond with a child, or with the sister-in-law if "lust" interferes. |
