believe or have faith. Every person has their own choice to make on that matter, and I'm not coming down on anyone for any choice they make.
What I'm saying is this. I do have faith. And all the negativity here has been getting to me. Should I let it? No. Others here have pointed out that I shouldn't sweat it, and I agree with them. But I'm human, and I have my failings just like everyone else.
My experiences of when I've asked and received are personal. I don't expect them to convince anyone else. The only reason I brought them up was that the post I was replying to was written with the prejudice that God does not exist and God does not answer. For me, by my belief, that is not the case. For my, by my belief, I have had immediate and tangible answers to prayer.
For others, by their belief, God does not exist, and my experiences were coincidence. While I don't share their disbelief, I respect their freedom to believe (or not) as they choose, and I don't hat or ridicule what they choose to believe or not believe. |
