OK, I don't get OpenOffice. I just lost about 2 hours worth of changes, even though I saved the whole time.
See, after my last round of changes, I saved. Then I messed with some other stuff, the program went insane and changed all sorts of numbering it shouldn't have access to, and so I closed. When asked if I wanted to save changes, of course I said no since I didn't want those changes. I just reopened my master document and all of the formatting is wrong - so, so odd! - not even wrong in the changes that I didn't like - it's just all completely off.
So, I guess that means my computer will have to be on for the next several months and I'll hope and pray I don't have a power outage since, clearly, it doesn't save changes even when it says it does. :p
