Thing learned today... by LthrOttr 2005-01-16 15:50:49
Motorcycles are smaller and lighter than cars, but they are really no fun to push to the gas station...

On the way to church this morning, music minister discovered a slight mis-calculations, and ran out of gas on his motorcycle (Suzuki Intruder)... nice big bike... heavy big bike. Pushed it about 1.5 miles to get off the freeway and to the gas station. Were almost late getting to the church in order to get everything set up (normally get there at 7:50, the other musicians get there at 8:15 after we've got everything set up, and service is at 9... we got there at 8:20 this morning). Was interesting... knowing we were on the motorcycle, and that we were normally there well before everyone else, the rector and one of the music group members were about to call to California State Police thinking we must have been in an accident.

Interesting day. Side note: It was VERY brisk on the bike for the ride in this morning.
